USB-Joy Sensitivity Configuration Mode
After the adapter completes its standard startup (green LED blinking, mode selection), the device enters normal operation. Approximately 10 seconds later, the sensitivity configuration feature becomes available.
Entering configuration: Hold both mouse buttons simultaneously for about 4 seconds and move mouse in any direction. The green LED will light up, indicating you are now in configuration mode with the X axis selected.
Selecting an axis: Press the left mouse button to select the X axis (green LED). Press the right mouse button to select the Y axis (red LED). The active LED remains lit to show which axis is currently selected.
Adjusting sensitivity: Scroll up to increase sensitivity, scroll down to decrease it. Each scroll notch changes the value by approximately 12.5%. The range is 10% to 190% of the original speed. When scrolling, the opposite LED flashes briefly to confirm the input was registered.
Resetting to default: Click the middle mouse button (scroll click) to reset the currently selected axis to its default value (100% original speed). The opposite LED flashes briefly to confirm.
Saving and exiting: After a 5-second cooldown period following entry, press both mouse buttons simultaneously to save settings to EEPROM and exit configuration mode. Both LEDs turn off and normal operation resumes.
Settings are stored separately for each emulation mode (Amiga and Atari ST), with independent X and Y axis values. Settings persist across power cycles.
